Sometimes doing something for a large part of your life, you think it will be that way until the end. Maybe you can’t even imagine that it could be different, and you consider the change unnecessary. And she may be needed. I found this out by my own example.

When I first flew on vacation to Spain I knew that this would be my place and that’s where I would live and so I got in the car and drove into the unknown …alone.

The decision to move to Spain was a leap into the unknown – I knew the country only from stories and photos. Not speaking fluent Spanish and without financial security, I left the safe haven to explore my new home.

It was there that I fell in love with boxing, and when I hung up my boxing gloves on the peg after 11 years of training, I was ready for new challenges. Living in Spain brought me great joy and layers of hope which made me know that I would stay here for a long time. I just needed new challenges.

For me, sports have always been a metaphor for life – falling, learning, rising and striving to be better. In Spain I found not only a new passion, but also a professional mission – to help others find their place on earth, just as I found mine.

I learned discipline and determination from boxing, which now help me in my work in real estate. Each client is a new challenge, each property – another story to tell. There is no room for half-measures in my work – with the same passion with which I once fought in the ring, I now fight for the dreams of my clients.

15 years later, I look back on my journey with pride. A bold decision that might have seemed like a risky step into the unknown turned out to be the best one of my entire life. Now, with the same courage and determination, I am helping others find their place in Spain. There is no greater satisfaction for me than to see the happiness in the eyes of clients who can start a new chapter with my help.
